The traditional meeting of the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association (LNTPA) members #Klubas4 took place this time at the Italian Embassy in Vilnius. The gathering was joined by the Italian Ambassador Emanuele de Maigret, who welcomed the attendees and encouraged the strengthening of bilateral relations. He also invited guests to enjoy the exhibition “Art at the Embassy: Contemporary Italy in Vilnius.”
During the event, the LNTPA community was introduced to a new member of the association – Scandurra Studio. Representing the studio, architect Poé Matteo George highlighted the historical significance of architectural collaboration between Italy and Lithuania in the development of Lithuanian cities. According to him, the diplomatic partnership between the two countries, which began as early as the time of Bona Sforza, has been reflected in the harmony of culture and architecture – historic buildings and parks preserved in Vilnius and other Lithuanian cities are testament to this legacy. These spaces, created by prominent Italian architects of that era, stand out for their balance of aesthetic and functional qualities.
Having officially joined LNTPA in January this year, Scandurra Studio has already begun actively collaborating with participants in Lithuania’s real estate market. The studio’s team, with extensive technical expertise in sustainable and adaptive architecture, promotes a responsible and needs-driven approach to urban development.
This direction is also reflected in the studio’s impressive international project portfolio, which includes the Spiga26 redevelopment in Milan, the Villa Patrizi regeneration in Rome, the Mazzini 9–11 renovation in Milan, the Aura Living residential district in Sesto San Giovanni, and the educational initiative NEW – Neighbourhood for Educational Wonder.
The latter project won the international competition Future School for Ukraine, initiated by the Government of Lithuania. It presents a modular, sustainable, and rapidly implementable school concept designed to support the reconstruction of post-war Ukraine. The project was developed by Scandurra Studio in collaboration with Ukrainian architect Mykhailo Vustianskyi, with engineering input from Deerns Italia and CEAS SRL.
Founded in 2001 in Milan, Scandurra Studio currently operates offices in both Milan and Turin. The studio combines architecture, design, innovation, and visual culture. Its creative origins lie in scenography and installation design, which naturally evolved into a broader architectural practice encompassing buildings, interiors, and product design
