The Real Estate Academy, founded in the fall of 2021 by the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association (LNTPA) in cooperation with partners from ISM, VILNIUS TECH, and Mykolas Romeris University, has successfully graduated its eighth cohort. This training program is designed for professionals from various fields seeking to deepen their knowledge of the real estate sector.
The nearly three-month-long study cycle covers topics such as urban planning and architecture, fundamentals of project management and financing, legal and tax regulation of real estate and its application specifics, construction process management, project marketing and communication strategies, practical tips for engaging with the media, and sustainability-focused solutions.
One of the features that fascinates participants the most is that each Real Estate Academy lecture takes place in a different location around Vilnius:
“Our goal is to give participants exclusive opportunities to visit and thoroughly explore unique city sites that are not easily accessible. For example, this time we visited the yet-to-be-opened St. James Quarter. Previously in the fall, we visited the reconstructed Missionary Church on Subačiaus Street, among others. These kinds of opportunities create high added value for the Real Estate Academy and its participants,” says Mindaugas Statulevičius, LNTPA President and founder of the Real Estate Academy.
Participants of the Academy also go through a project defense process. Divided into teams, they are tasked with justifying or rejecting the development potential of a real-life real estate object. They must evaluate the location, project purpose, investment return prospects, and implementation timeline. A competent jury composed of top-level real estate market professionals evaluates these project presentations.
The LNTPA President emphasizes that the alumni community of the Real Estate Academy is growing, forming a strong and motivated network of real estate professionals:
“We constantly hear requests from alumni to expand and deepen the Academy format—even to introduce second-level studies. This demand is a strong affirmation and indication that the Real Estate Academy is on the right path. So far, we have not made any decisions regarding continued studies, but we are listening, considering, and exploring the possibilities.”
To date, 189 graduates have completed the Real Estate Academy. A new group will begin at the end of September 2025. Those interested in registering are kindly invited to fill out the form available here: https://lntpa.lt/nt-akademija/
