LNTPA is leaving the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists

The Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association (LNTPA) has decided, by a board resolution, to withdraw its membership from the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK).

This decision was made after evaluating the experience of cooperation and operational priorities of recent years. In LNTPA’s opinion, LPK’s directions and priorities are increasingly less aligned with the direct interests of the sector the association represents.

The association, which unites leaders in real estate development and related sectors, is capable of independently, and also by rallying kindred associative communities, properly representing its members’ interests in the areas of legislative improvement and expert positioning, and acting as a responsible advisory voice to both central government and municipal institutions.

“It is important for every business organization that its voice be heard in the broader business discourse and that the interests of all business communities, and not just those of separate economic sectors, are represented. Recently, in LPK’s activities, we observed differences in priorities and insufficient attention to issues that are particularly relevant to the agenda of real estate development in cities,” says Mindaugas Statulevičius, President of LNTPA.

LNTPA remains open to partnership with LPK in the future, aiming for common goals important to Lithuanian business. At the same time, the association sees great potential in gathering partners from the real estate and construction sectors and continuing to actively cooperate with state institutions, social partners, and other business organizations to achieve a transparent, sustainable, and competitive environment for the development and investment of the Lithuanian economy.
