Visit by the LNTPA delegation to the Lithuanian Embassy in Rome

The visit by a delegation from the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association (LNTPA) to the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Rome at the end of March served as a meaningful platform for dialogue on the connections and solidarity that foster the growth of cities, nations, and the professional community. It was a meeting where Lithuanian experience and bold ambitions naturally converged with Italian urban challenges and sensitivity.

LNTPA thanks Ambassador Dalia Kreivienė and her team for the warm welcome and their clearly articulated key insight: when entering new markets, partnerships and local knowledge become a necessity, not an option.

“The Italian real estate market appears increasingly promising for Lithuanian investors and developers. As, incidentally, does the Lithuanian real estate market for Italian businesses. Internationalization fosters sustainable competition, broadens the horizons of market participants, and this inevitably drives progress across the entire real estate sector,” emphasized LNTPA President Mindaugas Statulevičius during the meeting.

The association’s head added that working in an international environment allows for a particularly clear assessment of one’s maturity and competitiveness: “By discussing with Italian professionals and analyzing their urban development practices, we can objectively assess our strengths—where we are already advanced, and where we still have room to grow.”

The visit to Rome once again confirmed that international dialogue is not merely a formal networking exercise—it is an opportunity to grow, reflect on one’s strengths, and purposefully identify areas for improvement.

The visit resulted not only in new contacts, but also in a strengthened conviction that the maturity and quality of Lithuania’s real estate sector not only match those of established European markets, but also enable us to operate as equal partners in jointly creating more advanced and vibrant European cities.

It was a great honor to have exceptional guests join the discussion: Massimiliano Fuksas (“Massimiliano Fuksas Architecture”), one of Italy’s most renowned architects of Lithuanian origin, as well as professionals from the Lithuanian diaspora working in Italy: Rūta Kavaliūnaitė, a lawyer at Studio Legale De Nicolais, and Paulius Masteika, co-owner of Alibi Creativo.

LNTPA also thanks the association’s members at Scandurra Studio for their significant contribution and care in organizing the visit to Italy.
